Enter cute title here

Bryan and I just found out our store made the Top 10 Shops! We had a great March, way better than we could have imagined.

We had a good weekend visiting with family. I will have to write a post about it and upload the photos but that would actually require time when I don't have an almost 9 month old hanging from my leg. One who is refusing to nap despite continuous yawning, eye rubbing and need sleep crankiness. I think the seperation anxiety stage is kicking in. So here are some pics from a week or so ago for now.

Sleep in a old man PJ shirt and uncoordinating baby legs for easy middle of the night diaper changes if needed. Jack socks up over the baby legs up to the knees to help them stay on. Now what do you have? A funny photo.

Teeth and a crooked smile. And showing off his I love Mama's Milk shirt

Who needs breastmilk when you have Coke Zero?

A perfect punk expression in his Punk's not dead T

Bryan liked his Hitler mustache made out of rice

Well, he is Anti- Crib

He's really trying to do that talking hand trick but it's not working. So he has to rely on his shirt to say "Can't Wait To Skate" for him.

The eyes have it

Click here to watch Julian not doing anything interesting but acting silly and getting very excited when he finds his brush.

I've been meaning to write about Julian's eye appointment. He did well and they even put the drops in his eyes which I wasn't pleased with but it really didn't seem to bother him one bit. The office was cool, a very fun and vibrant Pediatric Ophthalmology office with a huge germ play area. But waiting for 1 1/2 hours after they put the drops in his eyes, even though it only takes 30 minutes for the drops to fully dilate the eyes, the office quickly became a very ugly, horrible place to be. It was sooo past naptime but considering we were there for over 3 hours, Julian did darn well. I was the cranky one.

Basically he confirmed it's the bridge of his nose covering part of the white causing it to look like his eye is turned in. He said he is tracking everything well, looking straight ahead and no other vision issues other than farsightedness which all babies are. He did say we should come back in 3 months to make sure he's still tracking everything OK incase the cross-eye is intermittent. I haven't made the appointment yet and not sure I'm going to. I never thought it was an intermittent issue so if he didn't see anything during that appointment I don't think he will in 3 months. I'll probably just wait for another annual appointment. Even I don't feel the need to be that cautious right now. It was a long and annoying day but I always feel peace of mind is worth a $30 copay.

We have another fun family weekend ahead of us. Bryan, Julian, Nana and I will be heading up to see Bryan's Grandmother, Aunt, Uncle and cousins. We're looking forward to visiting with everyone but I can't say I'm really looking forward to the drive! It will be a fun time though and very worth it. They haven't seen Julian since last Summer. He's a much different boy these days!

We had great weather today so we went to the park with a friend and her kids. I actually started up a playgroup that will meet at this park every Thursday beginning next week. It should be a lot of fun since it's most of my mom friends and it ensures that I get out of my pajamas...at least once a week :)

I'm ready when you are

Julian has been patiently waiting for the warm weather to show off his Spring wardrobe. For now he'll just kick it inside, wife-beater style. (Although we have the 70 degress today!)

Family bonding

This past weekend Julian, Bryan and I went up to my Grandparents' homes along with my parents, sister Kristy, sister Shala and her kids. We spent time with my Grandma in Old Forge before heading down to Tamaqua to visit with my other Grandma and Grandpa. There were a lot of people in small spaces but it was a great time. I must say Julian was an angel despite teething and having his schedule out of whack except for almost every minute in the car. I'm haven't recovered from that yet enough to talk about it! Let's just say he hasn't outgrown his hatred for the car. Although he's been pretty good for me in the car lately so it leads me to believe he prefers the high-end car seat in my car over the more economical spare we used this weekend. Figures! He did have a lot of fun playing with his cousins.

Yesterday was a completely different ballgame. He had his Urologist appointment and let us just say it wasn't fun, I almost passed out and the next few days will be just as bad. He handled it well though but this was enough to make me reschedule my SPA appointment tomorrow! He also had an Opthamologist appointment Thursday for his left eye that appears to be turned in a tad. We sure know how to kick him when he's down. I felt so bad while we were in the waiting room yesterday. He was in such a good mood and having so much fun and all I kept thinking about was how he had no idea what was in store for him. That good mood came to a sudden halt. I wasn't sure exactly what would be done and if it would be done yesterday but according to them it wasn't that bad and it was a simple and quick procedure. Um ok. If that was simple I sure would hate to see complicated. We have a follow up on May 1st. I hope to be able to make it to Mother Goose today to take his mind off it although it doesn't seem to be bothering him nearly as much today as it did yesterday.

Enjoy the pictures!

Just another day at the park
