Important announcements

Now that I have your attention I can say it's really all not that important. But the first thing I'd like to mention is that we (I) am back to a 100% normal diet. Dairy, soy, nuts, egg...you name it! So Mom, I am SOOOO ready for the ravioli you've been storing for me! So far so good.

Next, remember when I submitted a picture of Julian and I nursing while co-sleeping for a children's breastfeeding book? How could you forget! Well, since we are going to be in it, I think you all should buy it up. You can preorder it now, check it out.

Joke: What is under 30", squishy and can't fly?

Answer: Julian when he does a flip out of the bed.

Yeah I didn't find that one very funny either. Now before you go lecturing me about how I should never leave a baby in a bed unattended, let me tell you that I was RIGHT there when this happened. See, I'm more neglectful than you thought. I wasn't even sleeping myself, I was wide awake, watching him. We weren't even trying to sleep, it was after a nap and we were just hanging out. How does that happen? How does a kid fall out of the bed when you are being attentive? It all happened so quickly, he stood up with the assistance of the bed rail and did a clean flip right over it. He didn't bang into anything on the way down and he landed flat on his back. He was shooken up but not quite as much as I was. Fortunately we have a platform bed so that means a bed frame low to the ground and no box spring. The fall could have been much worse. He seemed OK after a little cuddling and nursing. No bumps or bruises as evidence, I should have just kept this little incident to myself.

There is no denying Julian is mine with his love of footwear.

But I question where he developed this love of books because it ain't from us! He really loves the free ones our pediatrician gives us. OK he gets the love of free things from me too.

Let's hope this is a good sign his baking skills will be better than mine.
