Sunshine when it rains
Thought we could all use a little sunshine on this otherwise dreary Baltimore day:
Bryan hates this shirt and yet it's the one article of clothing that he won't outgrow! Besides, it matched his hat.
See the entire outfit?
This is what he wore to Mother Goose on Tuesday. I had a lady ask me how old SHE is. SHE! I thought she mispoke but when I said HE is 7 1/2 months she replied "Oh that's a boy?" Maybe it's because I'm his mother but what the heck, doesn't he look like a boy? Especially in this outfit? Sure he isn't dressed head to toe in blue with baseballs all over it but jeez, it is a tad masculine. She may have heard me say his name and thought I said Julie or Julia. I get that a lot on the phone when making doctors appointments for HIM so I over-enunciate his name "it's Julie-INNNNNN."
Trying to give that handsome man in the dishwasher a kiss.
Today he fell and bumped his head. Yes this happens a lot these days since he still hasn't realized he is unable to stand up unassisted. But today it left a mark on his right temple. It was pretty bad but it didn't look that bad until the day wore on and he developed a red V-shaped bump. We've created some kind of floor bed for him in his nursery using his cribslab of concrete mattress enclosed in a bed of pillows and the air mattress we now have incase one of us is in desperate need of a baby-free nights sleep. Oh wait, I don't have that option. OK so it's Bryan's spare bed. I am hoping to get him to nap on his crib mattress here since he's becoming rather adventerous when left alone in a bed. But anyway, Julian and I were playing in the nursery sitting on the air mattress when he crawled to the edge and sat up. I moved causing a Tsunami type air effect causing him to tumble backwards into the bookshelf. Ouch. He only cried for less than a minute but it left evidence so I figured I should come clean. I'll have to get a picture of it. Just ironic that the bed I created for safety reasons caused probably one of the worst injuries to date.
Speaking of picutures I have many from last weekend's fun with the cousins that are uploading as we speak. Hopefully I'll get them on the site by tomorrow.
